","\u003Cp>The Black Forest distillers and virtuosos from Monkey 47 are known for their "Experimentum Series”. Each release of the "Experimentum Series" is dedicated to a city, each one is very rare and contains exquisite gin distillates with special flavours.\u003Cbr />\nWhen Monkey 47 dedicated a gin to Dresden, we were delighted to take part in the launch event.\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Cp>We wanted to honour the unconventional creativity of the "Experimentum Series" with a particularly unusual location. Not only for the locals, but gin connoisseurs and collectors from all over Germany alike. We invited everyone to Dresden and there was no better spot than on a steamboat.\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Chr />\n\u003Cp>The clash and combination of sophisticated scenography, efficient use of space and a funky mix of Saxon-Swabian entertainment, all aboard a steamboat, made the launch of the "Experimentum Series" a real smashing event.\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Cp>The impact was loud and palpable with 350 dancing guests and tons and tons of gin. That which created flavour bombs needed a new name, a new design and product creation - in short: we needed to create a new brand. We were determined to be the godfathers of this figurative baptism.\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Cp>Due to the unusual history of its origins, it naturally required a brand that would pop off the beer shelves. Together with the founders of Germany's first university brewery, we launched the birth of Lohrmanns Brew. We christened the beer in the name of the TUD’s founding father, Wilhelm Gotthelf Lohrmann.\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Chr />\n\u003Cp>It was therefore particularly important that existing heritage played a major role in the brand design. The spirit of the university and the chemistry department faculty was brought into a, sort of, trinity with the new brand. Aggressive colours, a standout design within the beer market, loud fonts and communication that makes one kneel in acceptance.\u003C/p>\n\n\u003Cp>What then rose from the baptismal font was striking, uniquely unusual, and of high quality.
